Bermuda Tips

Bermuda Tips…

Do’s and Don’ts

· Do have your travel documents in order.  You will need a passport.

· Do declare any goods you are bringing in, as directed on the immigration form which you will receive on the flight.  One per person – the red form.

· Do be polite to the officials.  Who knows, you may even meet a relative.

· DO NOT bring any drugs or drug paraphernalia.

· When leaving the island, you pre-clear US Immigration here.

· Do note that we have our own Bermuda Dollar which is at par with US dollar therefore exchange is US $1 = Bda $1.  The US dollar is legal tender in Bermuda.  Ask for US change if you don’t want to end up with too much local money.  Most times they will give it to you if they have it.

*If you end up with a lot of Bda $, feel free to share with Joann.  🙂

· Do remember that folks here are still quite polite, when you approach individuals, greet them first.  Greet taxi drivers, hotel workers, people in grocery store, businesses etc.  Thank them when you finished interacting with them.

· Make sure you wear a cover up to and from the beach.

· Do ask Joann or other relatives any other things you need to know.

· Do plan to have a GREAT time in Bermuda!!!
